VIALL USE FOR THE SOLERIS SYSTEM

The Lactic Acid Medium Vial detection system for the Soleris instrument is a Lactobacilli MRS-based medium, with dextrose and mannitol as the carbon sources. Chlorophenol red (CPR) is used as the pH indicator. The red-orange color will change to yellow by the metabolism of the sugars to acid by the lactic acid bacteria. No selective agents are added during manufacture.
